Breakfast consisting of a buffet and a cooked English breakfast, is served in The Oak Room Restaurant. Complimentary mid-morning and afternoon tea are served to guests at 11:00 and 16:00 respectively on the inside Patio. Beverages, teatime treats, light snacks and a mini a' la Carte menu are available to guests throughout the day and is served in the gardens, at the pool or on our enclosed Patio. Dinner in the Oak Room Restaurant offers guests a choice of either an a'la Carte or table d'hote menu. Our comprehensive winelist has a superb selection of South Africa's finest wines.
Eight Bells is situated on a 400-acre estate. Outdoor facilities consists of a bell shaped swimming pool – with small kiddies pool – sun loungers and a thatched boma, two all weather tennis courts, a glass-back squash court, bowling green, the Rooster walking trails – marked and colour coded – and horse trails. Twice daily outrides conducted by a guide as well as paddock rides for beginners – weather permitting.
Children are also well catered for with their own play park, dining room and play area Donkey cart rides for the children take place once a day after breakfast.
Protea and fynbos is a feature during the months of autumn, winter and early spring, and the abundant birdlife is a treat for birdwatchers.
