What to expect?
We are dedicated to providing you with friendly service and a relaxed, family atmosphere. Our menu is built with the vision of creating meals from locally sourced, fresh ingredients and when possible, organic. Breakfast and brunch include delights such as bacon and banana sandwiches and French toast. Our hake with a soft fried egg will put a smile in your belly. Primarily, we are known for our South African seaside pub fare.

Since the very salty ocean is but a stone throw away, drinks are a comprehensive affair. We offer a variety of local wines, cocktails, craft beer on tap, warm cider and hot toddies in winter.
The restaurant overlooks the harbour and the view from the spacious patio is stunning. The interior has a quirky country house feel and the seating is comfy. During cold winter days, a fireplace turns The Boathouse into a very welcoming, extra cosy hide out.
New Captain, Ahoy!
Recently we welcomed our new captain, Johan Labschagne at the helm. He brings 12 years of international restaurant and catering experience to our crew. Johan worked in places such as Chicago, London, Denmark, Israel and the Caribbean. His passion is good, honest family food and he is pushing hard towards aligning the business with solid environmentally friendly standards.
